This image marked a personal milestone for me, although I don't expect anyone else to understand my reasons. When I first started "tinkering" with Bryce I became familiar with an artist by the name of Clay Hagebusch. Quite simply, his images really knocked my socks off. His work has atmosphere, mood, depth. To look at them, they seem to live and jump out at me. This was Bryce taken to it's limits, Bryce extreme! There was one image in particualar however that stuck in my mind for some odd reason and I soon made it a personal goal to someday become good enough, at least in my own eyes, to attempt my own version of his image. What you see here is the result.
